Job Description

Electronic Manufacturing Company is looking for qualify individual to join the Production Planer Department in Anaheim. Buyer position also support directly to Production SMT Line. Qualify individual, please submit your resume or fax over to us.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include purchase order placement, reschedule and cancellation activities.
  • Maintain and monitor receiving and MRB discrepancies.
  • Achieve cost savings based on standard pricing.
  • Sources vendors to identify best prices and availability and ensure best value for issues.
  • Ensures appropriate approvals are obtained for all purchases.
  • Actively participates in ensuring overall product and supplier quality.
  • Performs various purchasing assignments requiring professional judgment and ingenuity.
  • Procures supplies, raw materials, and equipment necessary to meet production schedules in strict time constraints.
  • Checks requisitions and contacts vendors
  • Exercises a good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must have Excellent/Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong PCBA Purchasing skills
  • Strong SAP Skills/recent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills - ability to develop good working relationships
  • Able to work independently with less to no supervision
  • Experience in contract manufacturing or purchasing organization is preferred.
  • Requires a college degree or equivalent
  • At least four years related experience preferred
  • Prior experience in commodity buying
  • Must have mechanical parts experience
  • Prior experience with SAP a plus
  • CPM preferred
