Job Description

A major cabinet manufacturer in Anaheim is looking for an HR Coordinator for the following shift:

Position:             Human Resources Coordinator

Shift:                   8am - 5am regularly, some days required to start earlier.

Pay:                    $16 - $18 

Type:                  Contract with possible job extension.

The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for the running and adjustments of all time & attendance hours. Provide direct and general HR support to the manufacturing operation, with primary emphasis on JanTek Time & attendance enforcement, tracking and reporting for direct factory personnel. Provide assistance to the Human Resource Supervisor in all human resource related tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary job function will be processing all PTO forms and running daily records.
• Responsible for making time and attendance adjustments as necessary.
• Run the bi-weekly payroll reports and maintaining the Union Perfect Attendance program by keeping it up to date.
• Generate daily reports such as the reliable attendance reports
• Assist in employee relations and provide orientation support
• Responsible for processing HR transactions, Direct Hire Program Tracking, and be first responder to Safety Program Facilitation.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and payroll; including Temp Agency
• Responsible for faxing temporary employee hours to temp agencies.
• Process all employee badges and replacements.
• Assist Human Resource Supervisor in all other related tasks as assigned such as employee events (i.e., picnics, holidays, parties, and safety celebrations), maintenance of monthly employee board, and posting up informational posters throughout the facility.
• Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors and other employees.

Job Requirements

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource from an accredited college or university preferred
    • 1 – 2 years of human resource experience in performing key professional level responsibilities
    • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Must be bi-lingual in Spanish
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
    • Must be service driven
    • Must have strong judgment and reasoning skills
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
