Erospace Manufacturing Company is in the business of designing and manufacturing precision tubular parts and assemblies for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense and industrial product markets. Job Responsibilities

Essential:

  • 3 plus years of progressive experience in aerospace Engineering or Manufacturing environment
  • Create manufacturing plan for complete part or assemblies and individual operations
  • Select Tooling and Equipment required for manufacturing different operations
  • Create Drawing and sketches in CAD system to support operations
  • Design Dies, Tools and Fixtures on CAD system for manufacturing use
  • Comprehend and follow customer drawings, specifications, part list and other documents in planning operation sequences
  • Review & create accurate Bill of Materials including all specifications for use in MRP/ERP system and materials department
  • Investigate defects in parts and abnormal behavior of operations and provide cause & corrective action so that similar defects are not repeated
  • Recommend and introduce cost saving measures and process improvements
  • Coordinate any outsourced manufacturing activities
  • Determine process/equipment requirements for new processes
  • Ensure data integrity
  • Know aerospace and ISO specifications and regulations
  • Design and develop new parts and processes to meet customer or marketing need
  • Calculate load and stress on parts and assemblies during design of new parts through FEA or other procedure
  • Calculate flow of material during different processes to pre-determine shapes of products after operation
  • Participate in technical discussions and activities related to new product development, material selection and manufacturing process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and/or related subject
  • In lieu of Engineering Degree, 10 years plus experience in specific manufacturing product line with a thorough understanding of most related processes is acceptable
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language to all levels of the Company
  • Able to work within specific time lines
  • Must be accurate and detailed
  • Computer literacy required, with experience in MRP/ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
  • Perform job with minimum of supervision
  • Project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
