Job Responsibilities

- Manage heavy call and email volume in a professional and timely manner
- Administer elevated service programs including customer reporting and communication processes for specific customers
- Assists internal and external customers with information or document requests
- Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
- Assists in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for customers
- Operates inventory control, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for customers
- Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes
- Responsible for regular attendance and promptness
- Assists other departments as needed
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.
Job Requirements

- 1-2 years of customer service experience in an office environment with emphasis in transportation or freight forwarding preferred
- Ability to type minimum of (40) words per minute, 10-key by touch and a high level of accuracy is required
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of customer service practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to assist in all areas of warehouse and administrative operations
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
- Willing and able to work with all personality types in a professional, effective manner
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced, fluid environment where tasks change quickly
- Adapt to new processes quickly and streamline current processes as necessary
- Analytical ability is desired
- Bilingual preferred, English/Spanish
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must have the ability to proficiently read, write and speak the English language
- Have the ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions from colleagues, customers and the general public
- Must know how to communicate effectively for instruction and/or guidance verbally and in writing
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations professionally
