***** LOGISTICS BILLING EXPERIENCE Preferred
***** Prior experience with Truckmate operating system a HUGE PLUS.
The position of Billing Specialist will have primary responsibility for invoicing of freight bills to include accurate and timely entry into the Truckmate operating system, reviewing Bill of Ladings for accuracy and completeness.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately enter proper freight destination and billing information for proper invoice and delivery
- Apply appropriate rates, per the customer rate proposal
- Work with Pricing when rates are not established via email and ensure updates are made in Rate Database
- Professionally interact with internal and external customers
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Ability to type minimum of (35) words per minute, 10 key and a high level of accuracy is required.
- Mid to high level knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word operating systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Effectively communicates with customers and coworkers by providing accurate, courteous, and timely responses to questions or concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of three years of customer service experience is required.
