Job Description
to assist the QA Manager in the company’s Quality and Food Safety
functions. The Quality & Food Safety Assistant will develop all of the food safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
This role will help to enhance, maintain food safety standards, policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance Quality Policies and initiatives to drive improvement across the organization
- Maintain safe working environment of the organization
- Drive vision and mission to continue to build a world class Quality organization working through others
- Track, analyze and communicate key Quality metrics
- maintain a Quality Audit System across the organization
- Build capability for continuous improvement through the development of Quality tools, training and resources. Foster adoption of continuous improvement tools and methods
- Ensure the development of scalable systems, analytical capability and communication to drive performance management processes
- Collaborate with Sourcing and Procurement to identify Quality criteria for all sourced raw and packaging materials
- Refine and maintain a supplier audit framework collaborating with procurement to drive improvements in supplier quality
- Provide guidance and recommend solutions all Supplier related Quality issues including facilitating partnership meetings and corrective action procedures
- Ability to perform duties of Team Members assigned to the respective Work Center.
- Provide guidance and recommend solutions to internal teams on Quality related production issues
Job Requirements
- Understanding of USDA/FDA regulations, HACCP, ISO, GMPs, SOPs
- Experience working in Food and/or Beverage manufacturing
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- GMP Knowledge
