Job Description
We are currenlty looking for a quality control inspector/tester with strong knowledge of Cable/Harness Assembly in Aerospace and Military Applications with IPC-620 knowledge
Responsible for meticulously inspecting and testing cable harnesses throughout the production process, ensuring all components meet strict quality standards by verifying dimensions, wire gauge, crimping, soldering, and overall assembly according to detailed blueprints and specifications, with a keen eye for detail to identify and document any defects, and actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to maintain high product quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Key Functions:
- Crimping techniques
- Connector assembly
- Undestand travels and Drawings
- Use of cable assembling hand and power tools such as heatguns/hand crimpers/screw drivers
- Familiarity with standard specifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001
- Participate in production meetings
- Program Auto Tester
- Data input
- Participation in customer meeting
- Continuous improvement of existing procedures
- prepare first article reports (FAI) on AS9102 form review and approval
- Assist in reviewing documentation and request final source inspection
- Verify, confirm and sign-off on job package paper work and crimp settings
- Create NCR’s for internal and customer as they relate to production
- Inspect and maintain F.O.D. Procedure P-07-05-09 requirements in production areas
- ISO/AS9100 involvement
- Inspect facility monthly for expired material or residual expired material on production floor.
- Clear understanding of all safety practices, and proper use of safety equipment provided.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Perform Production Quality Inspections
- Perform In-Process Inspections
- Perform Final Inspections
- Review all final documentation work order build package for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment.

Job Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of IPC-620 standard
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Technical school or equivalent or on the job training
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Production & Quality Testing
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of company Quality Management System, Procedures, Systems and Processes
- Mechanical ability and knowledge with production equipment
- Computer skills Required
- Ability to read drawings and wire schematics
- Clear understanding of the English Language Read, Write and Speak
