Job Description

The Production Supervisor at Fullerton is responsible for supervising and directing all production personnel and processes to ensure efficient and on-time production schedules in accordance with customer, statutory/regulatory, industry, quality, and organizational requirements.


  • Shift:         2nd shift
  • Schedule:   12pm to 8pm, Wednesday through Sunday
  • Salary:       $50k to $64K per year
  • Type:          Direct-Hire

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises, and assigns duties for production personnel
  • Schedules production and packaging; authorizes overtime as necessary to meet production schedules
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain all production SOPs, including product recipes and formulas
  • Performs regular quality checks in compliance with facility QA and QC protocol; assures compliance with all regulations and good manufacturing practices
  • Troubleshoots any production problems; assures that machinery and equipment are properly maintained for efficient production; reports any process or equipment problems to Maintenance Tech Supervisor
  • Manage all production logs and checklists
  • Safely handle and utilize chemicals
  • Overseeing production floor cleanliness and organization
  • Lead and encourage the production team with enthusiasm

Job Requirements

  • : Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or up to 3 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in Food and/or Beverage manufacturing
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Working knowledge of basic food safety principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships
  • Proficient with MS Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
